Firstly you shouldn't buy a property where the boundaries are not recognised by the land registry, if they are not recognised you are facing a long time of court action. To do thjis you can easily visit the land registry and pay a small sum to see copies of any documents relating to your property or a property that you are interested in buying. The land registry will gladly provide you with the register and the titles to any property that you are looking to buy, when you have these you can compare them to the ground plans and see if they are the same with regards to the boundary features, if they are not the same then you know that something is wrong.
